Welcome to our Monthly Update this is our regular update with the highlights of the upcoming month. In addition to the regular markets, the musical events, we add a major events and those recurring events starting this month.

Events
Well the end of November has Christmas season in full swing. The trio of fundraising events in the Inner harbour has Bear Wear at the Grand Pacific Hotel, Festival of Trees at the Empress, and Gingerbread House Showcase at Inn at Laurel Point.
Free movies return to the Delta Ocean Point with the Christmas Starlight Cinema at 6PM Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting Nov 30th.
We also star lighting the town with the Christmas Lights at Centennial Square on the 26th, Saanich municipal Hall on the 27th, the Provincial Legislature on Dec 2nd.
Downtown Victoria will be hoping thanks to the Downtown Victoria Business Association with Free Parkade and Free Trolley Rides on Saturdays until December 18th.While we’re talking free rides, the Langford Trolley runs 7 days a week to make getting around to events and shopping a little easier.
The Victoria Harbour Ferries return with their Santa Ballet for the season as well until December 18th.
Saturday December 4th will have wall to wall event at Market Square through the day. The Music will be provided by Island Ukulele Players from 11:30 to 12:30 and Tuba Christmas from 1-3PM. As the sun goes down the lights come on with the Lighted Truck Parade starting at Ogden Point and heading up Government Street and the Lighted Ship Parade follows in the Inner Habour. The truck parade will continue up Douglas and head to Langford where it will pass Vetrans Memorial Park after Langford’s Holiday Light Up at 7:30 PM.
Greater Victoria Concert Band will bring more music to Market Square on December 11th.
Lunchtime music comes to City Hall with Caroling Week Decemeber 6,7,8,20 at Noon.
Come see Santa on a Fire Truck at City Centre Park in Langford for the West Shore Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Festival of Lights Fire Truck Parade from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m on December 19th.
And that will lead up to the merriment of Christmas, the madness of Boxing Day. And we’ll be back in time to tell you about all the great New Years events that will launch us into 2011.
